EFT (Tapping) Better Than Prozac!

“EFT (Tapping) better than Prozac” That’s how columnist Natalie Trice  described the EFT (tapping) part of her ‘Maga Fusion Therapy’ in her article ‘The Day I Met Dawn’

“We started with some EFT tapping, don’t groan it’s brilliant and works better than Prozac. Dawn suggested it to help clear the blocks in my energy system and eliminate patterns of negative thinking and emotional pain I’d been carrying due to the stress of Lucas’ treatments, giving up my business and really just everyday life. I shut the curtains, the builders were outside and my neighbours are nosy, and as we sat talking and tapping I started feeling less cross and more relaxed than I had in a longtime.”

Get Started With EFT

The question I’d like you to consider is how do you want to feel when you stop tapping?  Would you like to feel more relaxed and happy? Before you start tapping decide on a starting (suds) level.

For example “I completely think I will feel no different in a few mins: 10 and I really believe that 110 %”  or “I’m feeling fed-up today and I’m not sure why, I think its about an 8.  I’m not sure why but that’s what number between 1-10 came to mind…..”

Top Tip ”It’s okay if you’re feeling a little skeptical… And try it anyway!”

EFT (Tapping) Script Relax & Feel Happy

Please have a glass of water with you, tapping is thirsty work!

Karate Chop: Even though I’m not sure that tapping works, and it might be a waste of time for me, I choose to examine the data and come up with an answer that feels right for me personally.

Karate Chop: Even though I’m pretty sceptical, I do want to feel better, and it might be worth testing out to see how it makes me feel.

Karate Chop:Even though I’m not sure this is for me, no one’s making me do this!  I can try it out if I want, and decide for myself.

(now got to the face)

Eyebrow: I’m not sure about this tapping stuff. I don’t know if EFT is for me.

Side of the Eye: That’s okay.

Under the Eye: It’s pretty fast to learn.

Under the Nose: I can try it out and see how I feel.

Chin: It does seem kind of silly.

Collarbone: But it doesn’t hurt.

Under the Arm: What if it helps?

Top of the Head: It’s okay if I’m sceptical!

Eyebrow: A lot of people are when they start.

Side of the Eye: I can give it a try…

Under the Eye: And decide for me.

Under the Nose: What if it helps?

Chin: So what if it doesn’t?

Collarbone: I’m open to finding something that helps.

Under the Arm: What if this is another tool for my toolbox… one that I can always have at my fingertips?

Top of the Head: I’m still not sure.

Eyebrow: And that’s okay.

Side of the Eye: It may be silly…

Under the Eye: But I do feel a little more relaxed!

Under the Nose: I like that.

Chin: I can decide for myself.

Collarbone: Is this something I want to explore?

Under the Arm: It’s okay if I have doubts.

Top of the Head: I can see what works for me!

Take a deep breath. Drink some water. Assess your suds levels.

How Do You Feel?

Just notice how your body feels after you tap. Does it feel more relaxed and less resistant? Repeat this sequence as many times as it takes to get to zero.

Alternatively you could try asking yourself how relaxed/ happy do I feel? Ten being very relaxed/ happy, one being not at all…..

EFT is really that simple and that effective! What else helps you feel better this fast that doesn’t involve food, alcohol, or a credit card ;)
