With similar stressed out, poor postured fast paced lifestyles I feel that we many of us suffer from very similar conditions; aches and pains related to posture issues, over-working our bodies and pushing ourselves to (potential or actual) meltdown. Insomnia, Adrenal issues, ME, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome are fast becoming part of ‘normal’ life.
If you’re a mega-stressed person with a very busy lifestyle I bet that when you are finally able to take a break/ holiday the first thing that happens is you get sick… sound familiar? Have you considered how daily food choices could be causing (or indeed accentuating) your underlying health condition?
(Don’t panic, I’m not here to cast judgement, and nor will I!)
The combination of being stressed and not much down time can be supported through some minor dietary changes. You’ll probably be delighted to know I’m not selling supplements nor am I suggesting you start taking handfuls of vitamin pills. There are much easier, tastier and cheaper ways of doing it
Of course our diet has a massive part to play in our day-to-day ‘functioning’ yet basic facts of ‘healthy eating’ often remain a blur.. e.g. what are the minerals we should have in our body? How much of a specific mineral do we need and more importantly WHY??
So I hope to lift the fog with some good old fashioned basic advice to help those of us who ‘believe’ we are eating healthily, but may be a little off the mark!
